Due to the un-timely death of my dear friend Patrick "Pat" Kelly, Oklahoma Commissioner of Clan Donald USA, just after Chistmas 2007. I was appointed to the position of Oklahoma Commissioner for the rest of Pat's term of office. This in addition to my duties as Chaplin [Bard] and Convener of the Oklahoma Clan Donald USA. I assume this position with great sorrow and reluctance at the loss of our dear friend and fellow Scotsman/Irishman. Pat also held the position of Clan Chief of the United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma. As a member of the Board of Directors, the Board voted to leave his position vacant in his honor for the remainder of his term in office. All of our prayers go out to the family.
